Tecnopackaging develops, produces and sells new formulations made from bio-based and/or recycled materials for different industrial applications.
In addition to food and cosmetic packaging and agricultural plastic utensils/consumables, we cover other industrial sectors like furniture, automotive, and 3D printing.
We work with matrixes made up of PLA, PHAs, polyamides, starch, alginates, PBAT, bioPBS, and so on. We include functional additives on demand based on specifications, like keratin, chitosan, natural colorants, and reinforcements made from natural fibers such as flax, hemp, wood, banana, almond shells, or synthetic fibers which include bio-based and recycled carbon.
In Tecnopackaging we are using extrusion-based thermoplastic mixing technology, that allow us to mix and integrate different polymers, as well as add controlled amounts of additives and reinforcement.
We also count with advanced blending equipment that allows us to scale up and produce customized formulations to meet our customers’ needs. Our production range covers from the use of a few kilograms to obtain prototype formulations, to the range of a few tons for the launching of industrial short series of plastic product.
